Ouchy

Sorry for not posting the past couple of days. As you know I started High School so I am getting used to the harder work load.

Every Monday I go to Lacrosse Clinics. And this Monday I got hit with a lacrosse ball in the back, twice. Now I can't bend over or have any one touch my back without being in pain. So typing is hard, I will be out of commission, sorry!

(I forgot to hit publish, it has now been a week and a half of wondering what happened...)

Back to School Rush No. 6

That is the song I find my self singing along with Fashion Shower, when I am picking out my outfits. 

Today is my first Day and this is my outfit for this exciting day! I am also going to show you how to dress up a neutral outfit with colour

I got this white peter pan collar shirt from F21 (in stores only) and the skirt from Old Navy. This is really neutral and plan, BORING.

So add a colored cardigan, since some teachers may not like the shoulder line of this shirt, or it could be cold in the classroom. This one is from F21 (old you can't get it any more).

Add cute earrings.

 
And flats

The key to this is picking one color and sticking to it, but not too much color!

Back to School Rush No. 5

Supply Haul time! I was putting this off until I knew I had everything, and I finished! I had to compromise some of the information since my laptop had an accident with a glass of water. THE DAY BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS!!! But right now I am using my moms so it is all okay!

Back to School Rush No. 4

The day before school starts, have a at home spa day, for me that is today. The LAST day of summer. Paint your nails, get a massage (it can be from your mom or sister), do facials, and have a bath. Most of all relax! And enjoy summer.

In the past couple of days I has gotten cold (okay suck it up Isabelle' it is only 68) NO MORE SUMMER! So I am getting in the mood for fall

Back To School Rush: No.1

Every year there is a huge rush around this time of year. so to help us prepare I will Be doing this series, starting with, you guessed it clothes!

Every month I print off a calendar off of Microsoft Publisher and write in what I am to wear that day, once the calendar is full of outfits I frame it and put it in my closet. The only reason that I frame it is so that I can write notes on it with a white board marker.

I only re-wear a piece of clothing after 15 days, and in order to keep track of that I get Post-It notes and label 1-15 and put them in to school/work weeks of five days. As I go thru the days I move the assigned Post-It  note down below the last.

To keep all of my clothes clean I do all of my landry on Saturday and Iron on Sundays.

The last thing that i do is put all of the outfit ideas that I have above my mirror on Post-It notes and take it down once I have worn it. This is my "Bank Of Extra Outfits" for when ever I have an idea.

And remember this, ALWAYS!

A Perfect Polish

I went to Ulta a couple of days a go to get hand cream and hairspray, but I have a rule for myself that every time I got there I buy a bottle of Essie nail polish. I have an obsession with pale colours for spring and summer, and reds for fall and winter. So the polish that I pick for that trip was Twin Sweater Set. I love it so much! Buy it here

When Getting A Piece of Clothing

Whenever I get a new piece of clothing, I have a thought process that I go thru every time, and I help then, now, and later on. You can also do this with clothes you already have!

STEP ONE: PICK THE PIECE!

Recently I got this shirt from Old Navy that I adore it is a perfect shirt for any season! So this is going to be our example piece!

Ironing Parties

Sometimes when I am getting ready for a schedule change, like going back to school, I will clean out my closet, do all of my laundry, and iron all my clothes in what I call "Ironing Parties," I wonder why I call them that since I am all alone doing the task, but I do!

I find that ironing is a way to calm myself down and relax. But that isn't the best part, it is walking into my closet, and finding my clothes calendar full and everything in it's place, the order of it all makes me happy!

Simple Things

Two of the days I have been sick (hence the no blog posts), one I was shopping (a haul is coming), and the next I was shopping and organizing for the upcoming school year (busy!), and yesterday I was riding my horse, then playing lacrosse.

I know they are all excuses but, you can expect me to make up for it, I promise

Desk DIY

Last summer I bought a desk from a local furniture retail store that sells high quality antiques. I got the desk for 25 dollars, which is an obvious steel! But it was a dark pine, that was U-G-L-Y! So I decided that before I went back to school I would paint it. Well one year later, still that ugly brown....

I will be painting it in the next week or two, how ever long it takes, and I am super pumped, check back in tomorrow for more!
