Ten For October

I am so excited to write this! October is my favorite month it has so much to offer, my birthday, my Grandmother Lucy's birthday, my Auntie Cristine's birthday, Halloween, and it is actually fall! So since October is working hard, so will I!

SEPTEMBER'S RESULTS!
September was hugely effective. All but the yoga I didn't do it at all, none! So that will be my first goal for October. I found my self more effective and kind. I tried random acts of kindness, and I loved it more that you could imagine.

OCTOBER'S GOALS
  1. This time I will actually do yoga!
  2. I will write thank you note the day that I receive the gift. No exceptions. And they will be handwritten notes on stationary.
  3. I will be more proactive about doing homework, most of my homework is assigned at the beginning of the week and due on Friday. But I wait until Thursday to do it.
  4. Go to a Football game. My school is really in to football, and I never go to any of the games.
  5. I wont ask for stuff, with my birthday coming up.
  6. I will post everyday on the topic of........ (Coming the 1st)
  7. I will do my normal post on the same schedule.
  8. I will plan my outfits over the weekend.
  9. I am going to try to be a better sister, daughter, and friend.
  10. I am going to get more organized.

Getting Orginized Part One

PART ONE// SCHEDULING

Go out and get a big desk top calender, use Google Calender, and a planer. The Desk top calender is for Outfits, Work projects, Blog post, Menus, Workouts, Birthdays, Holidays, Days you went shopping and Appointments. The Planer is strictly for School/Work (which ever applies). And the Google calender is for anything that you need to have a reminder for.

Soon in to using this you will love this I will. My Favourite features on this is Huge boxes and the notes section for more in depth notation. You must color code on here for different aspects of your life.

Any one with a Google account has access to Google Calender. I don't use this as much as it sounds like, but it is perfect for business and family calenders since you can share and allow others to see and edit the calender.

Any Planner works, but my favourite one is the Lilly Pulitzer Large Agenda. This is the perfect size to tote around for on the go.

Goals Up To Date

Last week I failed. I was back in the horrid routine that I was in a month ago. So I am apologising to My Sister, Mommy, and Daddy. I haven't done any yoga! NONE. But I have been doing everything else, except last week. I am trying. And I love keeping track on here to give me more incentive.

Goals Up Date

To help me stay on track I find my self listening to this song in my head:

This is a song called 'Everybody is Free to Wear Sunscrean.' This song was introduced to me at student councail camp last year, and I've loved it since. I found my self trying so hard to be nicer to my sister (who is the main person who gets the lash of my bad days), and putting things in ways that best discribe how I am feeling. I am also hoping that I can keep this up. I am working on the complaints, it is hard on the weekend when I am not seeing strangers. I stoped my self about five times today when I wanted to say some thing that wasn't in the present. And I am resisting the erge to beg my Mom and Dad for the Tory Burch shoes and dress I want for my birthday (October 5th)... But I am worried that when they read this they will know which ones I am talking about (hence no links or pictures).

P.S. How are your goals going?

Friday Five

What I am was loving this week was:

1. Reese Witherspoon:

My addiction has spiked recently and might effect me permanently... no it isn't that bad!

2. My Goals:
I am loving this I feel better already! I will have an update on them Monday.

3. Having My Outfits All Planed:
This really is a stress reliever in the morning and it helps me feel put together all day.

4. Pleasantville

My sister and I watched this movie and it is so good! There is no comparison to a good movie, with Reese Witherspoon, and a allusion to civil rights. Watch the trailer:

5.  Totty Bear

Yes this is what we call our eight month old Jack Russel (his nickname is a long story for another time), His real name is Jack. Okay we arn't that uncreative, we over the span of about 25 years my pearnts have had nine, and Jack was my sister's and I's first one that wasn't a family dog, or my Mom's or Dads, He is ours. So my Mom thought we should name him Jack (this was before we got him) and we didn't think of it as Jack the Jack Russel for about a week (slow moment!). So he is my Totty Booty Bubby Bear (His full nickname)!

OOTD: Reese Witherspoon Inspired Look

I have a obsession with Reese Witherspoon, I love her. So when I was Pinterest creeping last night I found this picture:

My Hair is this length and I LOVE IT (but it is her so I love anything...)! To recreate:
1. Blow dry your hair upside down.
2. Tease all your  hair to the desired amount of height, remember that it will relax.
3. Take a 1 1/4- 2 inch curling iron and curl pieces back away from your face, if your hair is thick then divide it vertically; complete the bottom and then the top. From the blow dry your hair should have a little texture so don't worry about the bottom to much.
4. Lightly mist with hair spray.

This is my outfit insperation for today:
I am wearing a slate blue button down, like Reese, my red jeans since I don't have a red skirt I want this one from J. Crew and my pearls (and watch but I wear it every day).

Have a great day!

My Clothes Inspiration

Last week one of my friends gave me a complaimlament that really made me proud of my self, she told me "You never 'bum' it, you always look so put together." I do try to look good every day, and that has it's costs. But as I later learn that some people don't know how to find the push to care about what they wear each day. Here are some of what helps me stay on top of my looks:

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MOM AND DAD

Today TWENTY YEARS AGO My Mom and Dad got marryed, after only dating for TWO MONTHS!!!! I am so Happy to be their daughter and happy for them!

Where is the Joy and Kindness

I have a confession to make: I am not as nice as I should be and that really bugs me. Now go back to when I was two.

There? Okay I LOVED Babar the Elephant. In one part of the movie (the first one and the only one I have seen) which you can buy here. They sing a song with the lyrics: Joy! Joy! Joy! Getting the job done....Watch It here

An good question for anyone if you have any idea for the answer let me know: Why aren't we as kind as we should be. As I wrote in my Ten for September that I want to be a beter person.  So when ever I am having an issue with that I am going to think of this.

Ten For September

Every month I will put up a list of what I want to accomplish for that month, and keep my progress here! This is September's List:

1. Be gracious~ accept, use, and work with what you have, others have less.

2. Live in the present~ I find myself saying when I....  too much and I want to stop.

3. Study every day~ I don't need it now but I probably will in future years, and it is a great habit.

4. Perform random acts of kindness~ Big or small I love giving and receiving these.

5. Be more articulate~ put my thoughts together and phrase my words the right way.

6. Post More~ In the summer this was easy, but put school on top of that and it is not so.

7. Share positivity part A~ Post positive things that will make you smile.

8. Share positivity part B~ Give 5 compliments each day (3 to strangers)

9. Share positivity part C~ Give off an orra of happyness

10. Do Yoga~ I want to do yoga four times a week.

P.S. Happy Labor day! Enjoy the Hoilday!

P.P.S. Share your goals for this month in the coments!
